Final Reunion Details

Central 88er's, we're only a few days away from the 25th reunion! Here are the final details for the weekend, but make sure to check back in case there is a last minute (unavoidable) change.

Friday, October 4

5:30 - 7pm Tailgate in the North parking lot of Unit 4 field.

  • Bring a blanket or chair to sit
  • For food, we've asked a local food truck to come out to give you the chance to purchase dinner. The vendor is called the "Cracked Truck" and is fast becoming a local favorite. One of the owners is a Central grad as well, so we hope you'll help support this local business. A sample of their menu can be found at http://crackedtrucks.com/menu-2/
  • We aren't collecting any money for Friday, so the tailgate food is on your own. If you don't like the Cracked menu, feel free to pick up other food or eat at the game.
  • Families are welcome, alcohol is not welcome since we will be on school property.
  • If you ordered a tshirt, you can pick them up and pay either night. $15 for short sleeve versions, $20 for the long sleeve. Cash or check made out to Drew MacGregor.

7pm: Central homecoming football game....Come cheer on the 2013 Maroons

~9:30pm: Guido's in downtown Champaign, 2 East Main Street

After Guido's bar action: Consult with Shoemaker




Saturday, October 5

10am Maroon 5K: Meet at the center of West Side Park at 10:00 AM. Run/Walk starts at 10:15. Come on out and run or walk with classmates. The route will end back at the park. Thanks to Leslie Hammersmith for coordinating.

Noon: Tour of Central, meet at the North end of the school near the gym. There will be a volleyball tournament at the school so we'll go inside as a group shortly after noon.

If anyone wants to go to lunch or have a picnic with a group, feel free to coordinate on your own.

6:30pm: Really fun gathering of the class of awesome at Jupiter's at the Crossing, 2511 Village Green Place in Southwest Champaign. A group picture will be taken at 8pm. Cost is $20 per person, adults only please. We'll be up on the 2nd floor.


We hope you will be able to attend some of the events, we look forward to seeing those that can attend.
